I have eaten here a few times but lately i am finding the food has gone down in taste and quality. Had the posh bacon and egg sandwich on the weekend was terrible. The bread was stale in texture may be sat under a hot plate too long, bacon was on the fatty side and eggs where metallic tasting to me. For some reason there was a sprig of dill in there which really does not work in terms of flavour. Having said that this a good place for a beer and the staff are very friendly.

Great place to stop for a drink or 6! Lovely atmosphere with some nice punters and amazing staff! Namely Jules Sophia and Saffron, made myself and my work colleague feel very welcome. 10/10 I’ll be back

Great pub next to Surbiton station & bus routes good selection of beers and wine plus make super cocktails simple and decent menu.Nice seating areas available and tables always clean and tidy. Bar area is great with limited seating on bar stalls. Toilets are a little bit of a let down especially the mess on the radiator under under the hand dryer

I gave 1 star for cusine as I never tried there food. As a pub, for a pint, super. It was where I changed trains, always had time for a pint 🙂😋🙂😋 Looking forward to see you again, its been over 20 years

The joy of the railway station pub is an almost universally appreciated joy. And while The Surbiton Flyer isn’t technically a station pub, categorised in my mind by having a departures screen somewhere inside so you can see how many more pints you can squeeze in before running for your train, it’s proximity to Surbiton station certainly brings it close. An old Barclays bank, bought and converted by Fullers 1995, it’s a cosy boozer with a clean interior. Since it’s refurb some 4 odd years ago(?), it’s brought with it that All-Bar-One aesthetic, weirdly keeping in theme with grand Bank…
