About Brewhouse & Kitchen Highbury
Modern pub food matched with beers, plus patio, bar & leather couches to create a relaxed vibe.
Former tram shed just off Highbury Corner. Was used historically to house the trams that ran on the Highbury to Aldwych route which started in 1906. Opened in 1997 by Regent Inns, later Spirit with Bar Room Bar brand, from 2006 it was owned by Orchid who went into Administration. Acquired by the expanding and ambitious Brewhouse & Kitchen chain in 2014 and, after a period of closure, it has been thoroughly refurbished with the addition of an in-house brewery (opened June 2015).
This is the second Brewhouse & Kitchen brew-pub in London. Keg and also cask beers are offered in third-pint sizes and taster flights. Entry can be controlled when Arsenal are playing at home. Doormen at the front police admission. Learn how to brew beer with their Brewery ‘Experience Days’ and Masterclass - see website for details.

I popped in here for a quick bite and a beer mid week after work. This place has a great atmosphere and plenty of screens for watching football. Service was quick and efficient and they have a good selection of lesser known draft beers. I had a cheeseburger which was fine. The highlight was it had relish which seems to be a lost condiment nowadays. It was good meat and not too overloaded with salad. It was a deal for a beer and burger and good value for the area. I’m not in angel often but my overall impression of this place is that I would go back.

Went for afternoon beers and food with friends. Decent, nice beer and food if not cheap, but it is central London I suppose. Quiet on a Tuesday afternoon but that is to be expected.

I've been a regular for years and it's a very nice pub in a great location, but the prices are extortionate, even for a London pub. The stake & ale pie, while good, was not worth £17 and is served in a half empty plate - could use more/better garnish for the price (Also, what happened to the legendary sweet potato fries? This place is not the same without them). Also, I expect pints to be somewhat overpriced in a pub like this but not to this extent - 1 pint plus this pie was £24! The staff are nice and efficient.

Large but welcoming pub just a stones throw from Highbury and Islington Station. Good variety of seating from large tables (inside and out) to comfy sofas or bar stools. Staff were friendly and happily recommended one of the micro beers which are brewed on site. We only popped in for one but would definitely return next time we are in the area. Dog friendly too.

I visited on a couple of Wednesday evenings and discovered that Wednesdays are jam session nights! The music was fantastic, the wine delightful and the atmosphere splendid. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Highly recommended if you enjoy a tipple accompanied by excellent music!
