🚇 Gunnersbury 🍺 £5.85 Amstel The Bull’s Head is located on the banks of the river Thames overlooking Oliver’s Island in Chiswick. The nearest station is Kew Bridge mainline, I got the Overground to Gunnersbury. An Inn has stood on the riverside here for over 400 years, its most famous patron was supposedly Oliver Cromwell. This pub is Grade II listed and was built in the 18th Century. Actor Donald Pleasance lived next door. This pub is a warren of rooms with various nooks and crannies on multiple layers. 10/10 to this amazing pub! We came for a Sunday roast, we both chose Roast Turkey Food absolutely amazing! You get stuffing , vegetables, pig in blanket and a large Yorkshire pudding. Would highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back again! Been back here many times since I wrote my first review on here. Always great tasty food, would highly recommend.

This is a lovely friendly pub overlooking the River Thames. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly but at the same time professional. Highly recommend

Great priced double vodka lime and soda (£10). Very fast service. Good views up and down the river. Definitely the best value for the area and I will definitely be back.

Great flavours, but lukewarm food left me gobbling it down hastily. Surprisingly quiet for a pub lunch, but I expected better quality given the low crowd. Props for prompt customer service offering a replacement, though I couldn't wait. Overall, it was a slight letdown despite the tasty dishes."
