About Elm Tree
Traditional Irish pub offering familiar fare, live music & sports on TV, plus a beer garden.
The pub, formerly named the William IV, reopened in March 2015, following a complete refurbishment after closing the previous year. There is now a tastefully done comfortable interior retaining original features such as panelling and fireplaces.
There is more of an emphasis on food than before - mainly traditional pub fare, and an Irish theme.
Over 21s only. Dogs are welcome on front patio area only.

I chose The Elm Tree for the reception after my mother's cremation. The service was excellent from the moment I booked until I paid the final bill. The buffet choices were very fresh and just as ordered. In fact, there was too much food, so amazing value for money.

This a wonderful Irish pub. Great food and wonderful staff. We turned up without reservation but the hostess was so kind and accommodating - absolutely wonderful. The pub has such character and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the lunch was so delicious, and not to mention sumptuous ❤️💕. Would absolutely recommend a visit 😀

What a lovely pub!! I don’t normally write reviews but the food was delicious and fresh, the staff and atmosphere was lovely and it was a bonus the sun was shining so we sat in the garden area. We will definitely come back!

Fantastic local pub for a sunny day or if you fancy a nice cold beer. Great decoration, modern and classic style all in one. Free parking for customers. Ideal for: Couples, sports lovers and anyone who enjoy nice food. Essential Info: booking is required only inside the garden area is first come, first served. Pros: - Outdoor areas. - Indoor classic pub decorated. - Fantastic food. - Great customers service. - Fair prices. - Nice selection of beers and wines. - Open area with individual TV for your table. - Live sports. - Table service not like those pub where you need to download an app…
