Just away from the village centre, close to the river and church, this was formally the Ditto pub. It was closed through much of 2023 and re-opened December 2023 as a community-led bar & kitchen.

Food drenched in butter. Potatoes uncooked :( 26 for half a piece of sea bass and 3 small de-shelled prawns. Specifically asked in advance if food had butter and was told it did not. Waited 45mins for a simple dish! Was told that the chef had high standards that why our fish was taking so long! Shocking that this place has a high rating. Would only rate it a 2 star. Advertising the food as Mediterranean when mainly deep fried and oily food and cooked with heaps of butter! Disappointing lunch for £116!

Have been a couple of times - once as a family and more recently for some group drinks. Great for families and I found the restaurant to be very accommodating and child friendly. For the drinks, they were very generous with the space provided. Both times I felt that the staff were great - very attentive and were happy to go above and beyond to make us feel accommodated.

Lovely evening in the Garden, food was really good, delicious Fattoush salad to start and perfectly cooked sea bass with capers prawns and lemon butter sauce. Excellent cocktails. So good to have a local independent pub offering great food, we will be back soon!

9 of us dined here last night. Food (pizzas, mushroom stroganoff, rigatoni and salad) all delicious. Waiting staff smiley, helpful and efficient. Really enjoyable evening and great value for money.
