About Olde Swan
Pub for Steak and chips and familiar classics with spicy options, a log fire and leather arm chairs.
Although much altered, this large pub backing on to the Thames can trace its history back to the 13th Century and was once used as a hunting lodge by Henry VIII. The interior has a more modern feel with black flag stones around the bar areas and wooden floors in the seating areas. The long seating area at the rear leads to a raised restaurant area. Outside, drinkers can sit on benches by the riverside which overlook the suspended footbridge to Thames Ditton Island. The changing beer can be from Greene King or other brewers including local ones. Local artists sell their canvasses which are displayed on the walls. Two function rooms for hire. There is also an outside bar used in the summer, but also available for hire. Disabled access is via a lift adjacent to the main entrance on the river side of the pub. Live music every Friday.

So impressed with a recent visit to Ye Olde Swan! My family arranged a gathering here last weekend to celebrate the life of my grandma who grew up on the Island. We had over 30 people, all eating from the menu - I was expecting chaos, but our experience was exceptional. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day and had been allocated a really lovely outside seating area near the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an amazing experience at Ye old swan. We had the pork Sunday roast recommended by the chef Lucas. The roast potatoes were delicious. The weather was lovely too and they had live music on the terrace by the river. Recommended 100% plan for a Saturday afternoon

Recently hired function room for kid’s birthday party. Great venue, lovely and generous buffet, friendly staff and lots of time to set up and pack up. Would highly recommend for a private function.

Best pint in Thames Ditton - Level Head, by Greene King. Friendly staff and great location. Started coming here recently. In 6 years never been here before. Lovely old building. Was taking a photo and decided to try a pint. Be rude not to! Then I discovered the local Canadian Geese and the ducks and Coots. Feeding them - thats my excuse to come here for a pint or two...
