About Gander Inn
This pub, now once again called the 'Gander Inn', has two distinct areas, with sports on multiple TV screens. Cask ale is once again served following the pub's refurbishment in October 2019, with four hand-pumps for cask ale and one for cider. Away fans are welcome here for local football matches as well as Sutton United fans. Children are welcome until 9pm (8pm Sundays).

Had a very tasty large mixed grill which was cooked to perfection and far beyond normal pub grub standard, definitely one of the best mixed grills I’ve had. The wife had the twice as spice dish which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Good service and excellent value for money 👍

Literally popped in a for a drink as hadn’t been in this pub before so can’t comment on the food. What I can say is that the service was excellent. I was a bit undecided as to what to go for and straightaway, the gentleman behind the bar offered a few samples of beers and ales without me even asking! He had good knowledge and was very friendly with his approach. Will be back to try some of the food next time since I already had dinner that evening.

A great pub with outstanding service and friendly locals. The landlord was really welcoming and made the evening all the more enjoyable. A good range of beers and food all reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again next time I am in the UK.

Great prices, Land lady is lovely, MiXR app is brilliant. Food, service, beers are all excellent. Have brought friends from other people down the Gander to watch the football. Staff all good. Would highly recommend.
