We were last night with friends in the Golden Lion, a group of all ladies celebrating the bday of one of us. We had a really nice time there, really nice pizzas, nice cocktail pitches. well as very friendly and helpful staff. We even stayed a bit later than their closing time and they were not annoyed, just very polite all... Will definitely return there soon :)

Visited for the first time this Saturday and had such a great night that I returned on the Sunday for their bank holiday garden party! Service was quick and all the staff were lovely. The food was great and well priced, perfect to grab some dinner before you start the night. All in all a great pub, would recommend!

New menu as of today (21/05/24), tried the Spicy Chicken burger, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Burger cooked to perfection, spicy sauces etc just enough 'kick' without spoiling the flavour of the chicken. Add to that a pint of Fosters for just an extra quid...! It's a shame I could only give it 5 stars. Give it a go...the pizzas are looking good as well. LesR

Always have a lovely experience at this pub!! It’s mine and my mates go to local. Can have a chilled drink during the week and liven it up on the weekend!! Our faves are Stacey & Zee! Always welcoming and friendly. They always tell us about the latest events going on and make us feeling super welcome! Legends ❤️
