About Volunteer
Now on a six-year lease from Wellington Pub Company to a community group and saved from total closure in April 2018. It was runner-up in the 2018 national CAMRA Pub Saving Award. This welcoming pub is just 200m down a side road away from the busy Bexleyheath Broadway. Friendly staff go beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome. The pub is a rare breed now, it being truly a back-street local.

Attended the rum and reggae event yesterday, what a fantastic afternoon in a friendly and well run community pub. Lots of friendly and attentive bar staff, good selection of draught beers, great cocktails. Great entertainment, cards and cash accepted. Thanks for a great afternoon 👍

Worth visiting! Went for first time on a Thursday evening in summer 2022, then again two weeks later. Consists of three rooms knocked together to form long, wide L-shape room that is nicely decorated and furnished, with plenty of clear floor space in middle part. Beer and other drinks decent and similar price as pubs nearby. Staff helpful and pleasant, and other customers (mostly youngish) were almost all* pleasant, welcoming and friendly. Great pub under new management. Nice new modern feel inside and large beer garden. Friendly staff and feels quite a friendly atmosphere in there.

Went to rum and reggae event . Fantastic atmospere . All ages . Lovely chilled out day with great music . Didnt have food but the staff worked very hard
