About Hercules
Everyday pub plates served in convivial surrounds with rotating craft beer on tap and patio seats.
Having done a number of stints as restaurants of one form or another the Hercules is now back as a pub under the ownership of Fuller's. The pub is split over two floors. The ground floor bar is also home to the cask beer and a vast array of keg beer taps. Upstairs is another bar dominated by a large shuffleboard table. There is also a separate meeting room. Food is available all day.

We had an absolutely lovely lunch here. The staff were super friendly. Everyone loved their food & ate literally all of it. The fries were great, not mushy at all. Highly recommend!

Service was good, a bit aloof, the atmosphere was great. Food for a kid was overcooked hence not chewable. The fish and chips were great. Great choice of beer. Recommend not to eat here while sober.

A hopping joint working hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. The place was packed on a late Thursday afternoon, and the staff was flying around happily and effortlessly, ensuring everyone was taken care of. If you are looking for a huge beer selection, a delicious menu in an inviting and lively pub atmosphere, you can't go wrong visiting The Hercules!

We love the atmosphere. The food was great. It was very busy when we were there but it was worth the wait

We hired the upstairs Carousel room for a joint birthday party and had a great time. The venue was perfect, there was plenty of seating and good transport links. The shuffleboard and board games were an added bonus, they really helped our guests mingle. (We had so many comments from our guests about how much they loved the shuffleboard) Organizing the event was easy, communication ahead of time was clear and regular. We ordered food for the event which was tasty and good variety of meat, veggie and vegan options. The staff on the day were fantastic, (particularly our bar person Ed). They were…
