About Vaulty Towers
Playful tavern offering whimsical decor, cocktails, creative bar eats, DJ nights & other activities.
Was a pub called the Spanish Patriot (Whitbread). During the 2000s it served as the Ruby Lounge and then Lounge 34. A very quirky and stylish bare-boarded interior including a pink cave, a cloud table, a grotesque area, camouflaged hides plus a pair of giant hands and many other features to feast the eyes on. There is a downstairs area of extra seating called The Basement Liquor. Quiz night on Monday with an 8pm start. There are two handpumps, one for cask ale and one for cider. Card payment only here.

Wow! Saw this place and just had to stop by and take a look! I've never seen such a quirky bar, ever! Lovely staff and the house wine is blooming delicious. My visit was around lunchtime but apparently, it comes alive in the evenings with live bands, pub quizzes that sound rather 'unique', and a decor that, I presume, can change as regularly as the local theatres shows.

What a lovely place! The interior looks magical, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, the staff is friendly and the food is great. We were so happy to have stumbled upon this beautiful spot and really enjoyed our dinner and drinks.

A uniquely decorated pub with friendly staff and good food. The simple menu...with vegetarian choices...allows them to concentrate on quality. The veg sausages & mash were tasty & filling on a chilly autumnal day. Decent wine & beer list.

Unique quirky place to have drinks and catch up with friends or plan a date night, recommend booking over weekend as hard to get a seat, service was a bit slow but it was a Friday night so to be expected. Great vibe and drinks were nice.

Very quirky bar/pub with a fascinating interior and treehouses to sit it (reserve this beforehand). Not bad prices, Doubles are £11ish. Enjoyed out time here. The menu has changed and isn't as good as before, sadly, especially for vegans! But come for drinks :)
