About Hollywood Arms
Pub with huge windows, decorated in pastel shades of blue with an abundance of soft furnishings.
Up-market side street local built in 1865 (1856 notice on pub’s front is wrong) probably by the Godwins according to Pevsner, although the local council gives the builders as Corbett & McClymont. Grade II listed building. Now an elegant, airy modern style pub following "refurbishment"; but at least the refurb left some etched and cut glass at the front of the pub.
At the back of the pub, the tabloid press has reported a "secret entrance" used by VIPs!
Fresh & seasonal food is prepared in-house daily and includes Sunday roasts. For events see pub website.
As at the last couple of feedbacks it was reported that only one ale was on offer. Further updates welcome.

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Hollywood Arms. It was incredible. Everything was perfect. Stella and the team are so professional. The food was so tasty, the environment was everything we could have asked for. We provided them with table decor and they did a fantastic job at setting it all up. They have a really nice relaxed approach to everything and were always very accommodating to last minute changes. I fully recommend hosting any even here!

Spent the entire afternoon walking around London and arrived in need of comprehensive refreshment. I was heartened to see the use of tobacco out front. Once inside it was pleasantly dark, and I ordered an IPA (I’m American, sorry). If there were a bitter on tap I’d have gotten that instead. For dinner I had Guinea fowl with potatoes gratin, a squash puree, and braised cabbage. Maybe it’s because I was starving, but I haven’t had anything this satisfying in some time. Service was excellent, attended regularly by multiple staff. Next time I’m here I’d happily revisit.

The food I had was not exceptional, but I found the atmosphere and service to be highly welcoming. I am considering trying other items on the menu in the future. My aunt, who was visiting from the US, and I decided on having the Sunday roast at this establishment. I reside in the vicinity and would be open to giving the menu another chance.

Amazing experience last Friday. Everything was just perfect. We ordered starters and mains followed by a few cocktails. Food was delicious. Staff are very friendly and fast. But the best was the great atmosphere. Perfect music and level of lights I will definitely come back..highly recommended

Very disappointed. On the menu, it’s clearly stated that the roasted potatoes are cooked in duck fat. Being vegetarian and opting for your veggie roast, I ask that you are honest with future guests when they ask if there’s a ‘veggie version of your duck fat roasted potatoes’. If not, just substitute it, rather than put them off their food. Despite asking (twice), I was told they are veggie and cooked in an oil. (No clue what, and too much to go back and ask again to be sure). My friends ordered the meaty roasts and when our food arrived, I could see no difference between the roasted…
