About Jam Circus

Spacious, industrial bar in former employment agency, for craft beers, sharing platters and DJs.

Originally opened by Antic in June 2014 as the Job Centre, reflecting a former use of the premises, the pub was renamed as part of a 2023 refurbishment. Inside there is a surprisingly large rectangular open space with the bar on the left hand side and a mix of seating and tables. The styling is perhaps best described as industrial shabby chic with a bare concrete floor and exposed heating ducts and pipework. Toilets are up a steepish flight of stairs. Music is often playing. A open-view kitchen offers a range of mainly burgers and light bites, plus roasts on Sunday. There is outdoor seating available in an enclosed yard to the rear.

    I haven’t had drinks here yet but I stopped in for a roast and it was lovely, I got there early so there wasn’t a wait as I know they can get busy and run out. I highly recommend this place for a Sunday lunch.

    Cozy and spacious local pub with lots of character. Came for a pre-dinner drink with a few friends. A few good craft beers on draught and also plenty of spirits and cocktails. Pints are around the 5.50£ mark.. cheaper than central London for sure! The burgers looked fantastic even though I didn’t have a chance to try one… I shall come back for one! There is plenty of seated space and some outdoor beer garden space too in the back. Staff seamed cool and there were lots of locals. Generally a cool young environment with a good warm vibe to it.

    Locals favourite place. Great cocktails, beers and food. There is something about job center that it makes you feel welcomed no matter what’s your style or music you listen to. Food is delicious, I loved their steak sandwich. Must try! Wings are great too, as well as their appetizers with hummus and other dips.

    Lovely and relaxing atmosphere. I’m a veggie and really enjoyed the burger I had. The tater tots were sensational. Bar staff friendly and made sure I was looked after well.
