About Kentish Belle

Micropub in Bexleyheath first opened in March 2018, next to the railway station and has a distinctly Art Deco feel. William Morris wallpaper is a nod to the artist - who lived just under a mile away at the Red House - along with solid walnut furniture. Outdoor furniture is provided front and rear and the venue hosts regular events including tap takeover nights, quiz nights and mini-festivals. Beers are a combination of local and national cask ales and, with real cider, are all served by gravity dispense from a rear chilled 'cellar' room, the capacity of which permits realistic festival size - usually twelve firkins. Keg beers, gins, Scotch whisky, varying other spirits and wines.

Gents toilet is upstairs.

This pub changed hands in September 2023.

This was the CAMRA London Regional (Cider) and Branch (Cider) Pub of the Year 2019. CAMRA local branch Cider Pub of the Year 2024.

Many varieties of local craft beers at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly. We met friendly local people and enjoyed a lot. Great taproom.

We love this micropub! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Really good drinks selection, and at a really reasonable price. My husband and I, along with our dog, love coming here whenever we can. We also love the idea of cheese boards. Definitely 1000% recommend this micropub ! Also loving the recent refurb!

Opened in 2018, the pub is close to Bexleyheath train station and bus stops and opposite Basilon Road, giving panoramic views of Shooters Hill and sunsets. Female toilets are on the ground floor, while the male toilet is on the First floor. The entrance door is adequate to allow most wheelchair users. Two large chalkboards display the beer and cider menus. Three kegbeers and up to seven cask beers are on offer. Beer and cider is served straight from the cask in lined glasses, available in pint, half pint and third glases. A selection of craft beeras well as wines and spirits. Pump clips were…

Had a very zingy pale ale from Canterbury ales followed by a smooth biscoti dark beer from thornbury here. Both well conditioned but the main takeaway was the barman and one of the regulars chewing the fat with me which was was a nice touch

I personally think this is the best micro pub in the area. An excellent range of cask, keg and canned beer. They have Cider too, plus spirits and wine. The beer is brilliant! Perfectly kept and served by the nicest staff you could meet.
