About Kings Arms
This traditional pub from 1850 offers draft beers, many wines & food amid old-fashioned decor.
The pub dates from 1759 and was rebuilt a century later at a cost of £1,994 by W Finch Hill, an architect known for his theatre and music-hall work; the disused doors indicate its Victorian class-segmented origins. Owned by McMullens since July 2013 and now tied to them. A period of closure for renovation coincided with the various Covid lockdowns but the pub reopened finally in June 2021. The revamped pub now features five boutique bedrooms and a new Undercroft cocktail bar in the basement.
As with all of their pubs they sell beers from their Authentic Heritage cask range - AK, Country and IPA and possibly augmented with one of their seasonal beers which are sometimes branded under their Rivertown banner.
Breakfast is served 7am- 10am or 11am weekends (open to the public) and then cheese and charcuterie 12pm- 10pm. Alcohol cannot be served before 10am Monday to Saturday or noon on Sunday.

What a special place! Our room was on the top floor of only 5 rooms. The staff was so great and accommodating. They took our luggage up AND down - no small task. The bar downstairs is perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was high quality. There were food and shopping that was walkable but most of the more touristy attractions are a short Uber ride away. If you love a hotel that has character and wonderful service - look no further. I was very pleased with my choice having booked it sight unseen. Our room felt like a warm hug after our action packed days! Thank you Kings…

What a fantastic find. We stayed over for one night as it was ideal for The Palladium. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was wonderful - the bed was like a cloud, and the breakfast was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

In the Kings Arms I stayed, and what a pleasurable stay indeed. Cozy, comfortable, Romantic, and fitted with everything needed. Located in a safe and semi-quite neighborhood just off of Riding House St. and Great Titchfield St. but easily walkable to dining and shopping. I was able to Get Here, via the underground and buses, but bearing in mind if in need of speed, the Bolt was just a call away. Now back in the states, resting from slight travel fatigue, I do miss the Kings Arms. Thank you and see you soon!

The pub is a little oasis. Upon walking through the door I was met with a relaxed vibe. Really nicely decorated with non-intrusive music playing. A variety of different areas to sit depending on whether you want quiet time alone or sit as a group. McMullen's beers are always good. Prices are reasonable for London. I did not stay overnight.

We had a fabulous week's stay here in May. Our room was #4. It was a spacious and comfortable room. We really liked the curved windows overlooking different streets from the room. Even though we had a corner room it was a very quiet location. The mini fridge and AC was an added bonus. Each morning we had breakfast in the pub. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Croissants, sweets, fruits, and a cooked to order breakfast was available each morning. Breakfast was filling enough you could skip lunch if you wanted. The location is great as well. It is a 5 minute walk to Oxford or Regent Street…
