About Wigmore

Elevated pub food & drinks in a stylish, retro-inspired space attached to the Langham Hotel.

Formerly a bank, now part of - but separate from - the 5-star Langham Hotel. Very up-market and well-staffed, and with a 12 1/2% discretionary service charge.

There is an emphasis on food (the short menu is curated by M Roux, Jr) but the keg beer-range is interesting and up to three equally interesting cask ales are normally available.

The toasted cheese and mustard sandwiches here have had a very good write-up but you can just sit and drink if you want to.

Handy for Oxford Street, it includes Ladies Who Lunch and BBC types amongst its wide and appreciative clientele. One of our photos shows the pub's swingsign along with a part of the new BBC wing and part of the Nash church, All Souls, both of which are very close.

Their bar snacks are AMAZING. The masala scotch egg is just a work of art. Great crispy texture, jammy quail eggs, and mix of flavours. The service was fast and professional. The space is beautiful. Really look forward to returning for a full meal.

Beautiful traditional English pub! I recommend booking in advance if you want to sit at tables (which I did). We had the signature grilled cheese sandwiches and they were delicious. We also had a bottle of water and two pints of Guinness, all for £38. The place was quite large, warm and welcoming. The staff were very kind and super friendly.

5.0 A beautiful, updated, classic British pub in The Langham at Portland Place. Lovely interiors, a lively atmosphere with football on a large screen, a wide variety of beers, wines and cocktails. The food menu offers British classics with a twist. We had their Toastie which they are famous for...this one was Jamon iberico with manchego...it was very good. We also had Cornwall squid, hake, the scotch egg and the best fat chips with bloody mary salt! Excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. All in, a great place.

Lovely pub right in the heart of central london. Minutes from Oxford Circus tube - this has an old school vibe with a lovely cosy feel. Nice in the summer sitting outside and wonderful in the winter sitting down for a pie and mash in the back. Sunday roasts are brilliant - lots of well cooked veg with a choice of great meats and plenty of gravy. Love the selection of gin cocktails - a favourite!

Excellent roast and great atmosphere as always. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our 4 year old and new baby, even providing a quiet space where I could breastfeed. Such a game changer to go to a place where the staff are friendly to kids and mums and you can have an excellent meal!
