About Kings Head

Bright Victorian corner pub with downstairs comedy club, British bar menu and worldwide beers.

Aug 2024 - only the one cask beer on offer - we do not know if this is a "summer thing" or permament.

The first thing you notice about the Kings Head is the lack of an apostrophe in its name, either on the frontage or the pub sign, which depicts the King of Hearts from the traditional deck of cards. The second is the inside of the pub, which the large windows make easily visible from the street. The pub is renowned for live entertainment, with comedy, live music on Fridays and jazz on Sunday afternoons. There is also a quiz on Wednesday nights. The walls are adorned with photos of comedians, and there is plenty of comfortable seating to study them from. There is an extensive menu.

Finally managed a quick drink in the King's Head. A pleasant and comfortable pub. Quite traditional and relaxed.

The fantastic Kings Head team helped plan a truly memorable birthday party. Fairy lights transformed the comedy club, the chef's food was a triumph and the layout even allowed for live music and ceilidh dancing!!! A brilliant bash and by partying 12-5pm on a Saturday afternoon - the budget stretched a long way. Thoroughly recommend...

If you’re in Crouch End and want a place to check out, I highly recommend heading to Kings Head! Was my first time in the area and the service was great :) also, the portion of food was decent. Lastly, I love my Guinness and you’ll get a good one here. When I’m back in London I’ll definitely try and pop in again.
