About Long Haul
Camra Bexley branch Pub of the Year 2022.
This micropub opened on 28th August 2020 in the middle of the local shopping area in Long Lane, next to the post office. It used to be a tattoo parlour and is handy for the Indian restaurant next door but one. It's compact inside with a bar counter towards the back and with high tables and bench seating on the left and standard tables and chairs to the right. There's usually seating available outside on the forecourt. Predominantly Kentish real ales and ciders/perries are served by gravity, direct from the cask, from a rear chilled cellar room. Guest beers from further afield are sometimes available. A selection of wines and spirits are sold here too.
Card payments are accepted. Last orders must be placed 30 minutes before the advertised closing time.

Lovely place for some local beers. Very welcoming owners and they have a fantastic set up with “Seafoods” a few doors down where you can order and bring in their food. The beers change frequently and always try and source locally. Will definitely be back!

My wife liked the decoration and her wine I liked the Gadds No 5 from the Ramsgate brewery. I was also recommended the "Dreamland" as a take out which was a good call. Not sure of the brewery but it tasted good. The bar felt friendly, warm and local, keep up the good work

Now this little pub is a gem. From the owner, to the staff, and the friendly locals. We never fail to have a good time. Great selection of beers and cider. Also a few top shelf options. It’s very difficult to just have a quick drink. As once you get talking. You end up staying until closing time.

Excellent micro pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere, and some top notch beers. Highly recommended. 2 years on and I'm giving The Long Haul another visit (I live 190 miles away but had to return as I was in the area). It's probably the friendliest and most welcoming pub I've ever been in! Mark the barman is knowledgeable and passionate about the beers, while offering a warmth and hospitality that's just not found anywhere else nowadays. Equally, the locals include you in the conversation and make you feel like it's your local too. I'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, even better beer and cider. Highly recommended. They've won pub of the year 2 years running, and it's utterly deserved!
