About Lord Nelson

Hip and quirky bar with exotic decor and creative, eclectic food including horse burgers.

Despite its somewhat inauspicious location, underneath a local authority housing block a stone's throw from Southwark tube station, this quirky pub is lively and popular - attracting a mainly younger crowd. The colourful interior is adorned with a random and varied collection of objects - including inflatables! Has a paved outdoor seating area. Meals emphasis is on burgers.

I It’s a bit warm inside, likely due to the lack of air conditioning or it not working. However, the outdoor seating is comfortable and you can enjoy a pleasant breeze. The onion rings and chips are tasty. The Pimms were also nice.I initially ordered a glass but ended up getting a pitcher. The staff were friendly.

Had a really nice lunch here. The burgers are insanely good. Quirky interior decorations and fun menu, give it a try to see what I mean.

Was absolutely delicious. I chose the Lord Nelson and the special which was a McDonald’s burger. It was so delicious I couldn’t recommend it more and we had enough to take away for later .Great for money. Was absolutely delicious. I chose the Lord Nelson and the special which was a McDonald’s burger. It was so delicious I couldn’t recommend it more and we had enough to take away for later. Great for money. Stuff was so friendly and gave us a free shot at the end, which was also delicious. They do a 20% discount too.

Nice beers, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and a good selection of beers. Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to try the food because on that day the chef was not in but the staff was nice enough to allow us to order our food elsewhere and eat there. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Lovely staff, lovely vibe here, had one of their burgers - very filling and tasty - comes with homemade chips, lettuce, tomato and even some coleslaw! Reasonably priced - especially for what you get. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will defo come back!
