A pub in a building dating back to the 16th century. A former Courage house, the blitz saw many buildings in the area destroyed, the pub has survived and hence its location on its own. The bar has 2 distinct areas and there is a function room upstairs, holding 30 seated and 60 standing. A sizeable garden, which is rare for pubs in this area, sprawls out into the neighbouring churchyard. 4 handpumps.

Good outdoor space, poor value for money food. The place has nice and plenty outdoor sitting and the inside is alright for a pub. However, I paid around £17 for a burger that was small and barely edible, very dry and hard to chew, also half the chips were not good. I wouldn't buy food in this place.

Lovely staff, great food and an amazing spot during the summer. Would be great if they had heaters for the winter as inside gets to busy.

Looked after me and a mix of friends/colleagues. The staff were amazing and friendly. The manager and assistant manager were eager to answer questions. The food is simple yet delicious, something one would expect from a london pub.

Great pub with plenty of outdoor space. The staffs are so friendly and the food was great I loved the loadedchips and Burger.
