About Lord Palmerston
Elegant Victorian-era gastropub with a fireplace, leather armchairs and a weekly film club.
01/04/24 - pub has reopened. Beer range to be confirmed.
22/2/24 - According to the Tufnell Park Film Club, who meet at The Lord Palmerston on a Tuesday, the pub is closed for a refurb. It is apparently scheduled to reopen in late March. 27/02/24 - "Did go past the Lord Palmerson earlier, and by heck it's getting done over. There's lots of scaffolding up, and there's cleaning and goodness knows what else going on."
This is an old establishment given a modern treatment, that nods in the direction of gastro without excluding or alienating those only wanting a drink. It features a central bar and a conservatory; the windowed frontage creates a light, airy feel to the drinking experience while the high ceilings add to the impression of space. Food serving times - see their website, from an extensive menu. Outdoor seating available both on Dartmouth Park Hill frontage and in the enclosed rear courtyard. Changed hands in 2015 and became part of the Young's managed estate in 2017.

Amazing how one trip to the pub can change your whole day, we got there around 12 as we walked in we got greeted with big smiles and attentive staff, Shannon and Vicky made our visit worthwhile, food was delicious, My partner got a plant burger it was gone in few minutes, I got chicken escalope with capers & samphire butter + perfectly cooked sunny side up egg -it was juicy and full of flavours. Loved it. Atmosphere is great as pub is freshly refurbished, if you are in the area it is definitely worth to visit Lord Palmerston. Thank you and we will be visiting again.

Lord Palmerston is a perfect place where to come for lunch or dinner. I had a delicious plant burger while my partner enjoyed his chicken escalope. The staff—Aneta, Shannon, and Vicky—were amazing and took great care of us. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this pub for a fantastic dining experience! Or for a casual drink or two or tree or four. Thanks again

What a lovely find and just by chance we happened to visit the day before they opened (the pre-opening open day!) after a major renovation. Absolutely stunning inside, warm and welcoming even from Kitty the resident dog. So many seating options from big tables for 12 to cosy snugs in the rear. Laura the friendly manager showed us round and we got to see the rear and front terrace, gonna be great in the summer. We had a small food taster and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and have a full on dining experience plus try out the 'Call for champagne' buzzer.

The Lord Palmerston is easily one of my top 3 pubs in London (and that’s a competitive top 3!): beautiful and quiet pub garden in the summer, fire place in the winter, excellent food, beautiful decor and amazing service! Perfection year round after a walk on the Heath.

Popped in for a quiet roast on my own. Had a lovely warm welcome from all the team, they managed to find me a lovely cosy table with armchairs, perfect to sit back and relax, just what I needed. Great Selection of non-alcoholic beers. But also great Selection of alcoholic beers on tap and lovely wines on offer. Service was great I was made to feel at home, the Atmosphere was warm and buzzing just what you’d expect on a Sunday afternoon. This pub is such a beauty a must visit! Great Sunday lunch will Definitely be back to try the à la cart menu.
