Avoid this place unless you like chain pubs! Went here one Sunday night mainly because it was opposite my hotel and seemed like it could be good, it was not. I didn’t know it was a chain pub when I chose it but knew as soon as I sat down. The decor was fake pub, the atmosphere was dead, the staff looked bored and disinterested and the food was below average. The kitchen must have closed at around 9:00pm. Nice pub atmosphere, good customer service, ok pub food. Seafood pie had a potato crust not a pie crust so didn’t expect that. Taste wise was ok.

It’s a shame. This place has really gone downhill. I remember when I first visited pre-COVID the atmosphere was terrific. Always a great selection of beers. It’s really turned around. Inattentive staff, they only have a small selection of Fullers beers (they don’t even have ESB on tap!) Hope this place turns around. Until then I’ll just go to the Duke of Wellington opposite Waterloo station to get my Fullers fix

Not the best, waitress was constantly on her phone! Dropped my food in front of me without any conversation. Roast lamb tasted like a microwave meal 👎🏽
