I liked this Greene King pub. Even at 4pm on a weekday afternoon it was quite lively. They only had 2 cask ales and 3 craft ales. It is a narrow pub, apparently dating back to 1600 for the original building. They had an excellent whisky collection of around 35 different ones. I opted for a double Woodford Reserve, not cheap at £13.90. The service was excellent. It is in a good location, Holborn station is under a 5 minute walk away.

My cousin and I were here for some post-work drinks. The atmosphere is nice they have a good selection of beers and ales, as well as wines. The music is nice, not too loud and conveniently popular. The service was friendly, professional, and swift.

Thank you so much for helping us host a reunion party in your upstairs bar. A great night and your team were amazing, thanks again

A great pub in an excellent area but unfortunately, their beer wasn't particularly good for me

Dropped in for a couple of pints, was a nice hole in the wall pub. The bartender was lovely and attentive but unfortunately a couple other staff both called in sick, so the wait was long but the person did an excellent job to serve everyone and communicate about the increased wait time.
