About Phoenix

Traditional pub with TV sport on large screens, a pool table and a menu of classic British grub.

Deservedly popular, comfortable, upmarket pub serving the well-heeled locals as well as the visitors who choose to venture the short distance off Queensway. A variety of seating, floor coverings and degree of modernisation lend character to each the three distinct areas of the bar. Guest ales may also be available and are chosen very much in accordance with the demands of the regulars.

We had exactly the dinner we were looking for - perfect fish and chips and lovely sticky toffee pudding - at a nice little table outside. Just a great little neighborhood pub!

Archie the manager very rude , very confrontational not sure if we’ve caught him on a bad day but wont be returning. Was also accused of kicking someone’s chair when cctv was checked no such incident was found to of happened.

Perhaps it was an off night. It was a nice place inside and the food was good, although not as good as anywhere else we've been on our visit to London. But the staff wasn't very friendly. They show Cheers on TV here a lot. It had the feel of Norm running the bar and Carla bartending, is the best way I can explain it. ADDENDUM: No, they don't show Cheers on TV at this bar. They have the attitude of Carla, as you can see by their response.

Great spot for a drink and some food. Had the steak ale pie and was very impressed. Had a few drinks while waiting for others and they had a good selection of beers on tap. Recommend a stop if you're looking for food or a drink. Food and a beer was around 20 pounds depending on what you get.

100 m from the noise of Queensway, the Phoenix, Moscow Road W2 couldn't have been more different than the chaos we left in search of a good second pint. Nice sofas and a few tables outside, the pub deserved more punters than it had when we visited. Very nice. Wish we had tried the food so no review. Apparently dog friendly too.
