Had used the Plough & Harrow for many years before being refurbished and updated. What a lovely surprise to see Heartwood Inns become the new owner having spent several years frequenting the King’s Head in Teddington. It’s been beautifully transformed in a stylish pub/ restaurant with several rooms and an expensive garden area. An excellent pub and restaurant with lovely gardens. What makes this place special though is the attentive staff. The ladies looking after everyone treat you like you are family. The food is superb. A good variety of exotic and European choices. Nice wine menu.

Consistently good food and service make this a standout destination for working lunches and personal enjoyment. Everyone I have taken there loves the setting which is bright and airy, the food is always cooked to perfection (the souffles are not something which every chef can pull off that well). PS - try the gammon steak. It isn't what you'd expect and is delicious.

A nice dog friendly pub with kids play area in the garden. Service was friendly, food took a while to arrive but worth the wait, we had the seabream, steak and ale pie with the trimmings. Free parking out the front!
