Lovely, lively pub in Wimbledon. The vibe is ‘spot on’… starts with the friendly service, and the excellent and delicious food options (nibbles or mains). And the overall feel of the pub is simply inviting, as soon as you walk in, or stay ‘on patio’, which makes you as comfortable chatting, watching the game, or just enjoying a night or afternoon out. It’s friendly, it’s classic, and hard to pass by without stopping for a pint .. or two. So make it a regular spot - hot summers only getting hotter. Come in for a cold one. Cheers 🍺

Visited The Prince of Wales Pub on way to New Wimbledon Theatre. Green King Pub, nicely decorated for a building of its age. A large TV showing sport, but not all over, might be more if an event is on. Friendly welcome and come to check on us for the food, cleared quickly. Standard pub menu, we had three pick and mix for £17, which were all nice. Ordered half a lemonade which was £4 or £8 a pint, don't know why so expensive. Toliets nice and clean. Seating outside on the pub.

Went to see the pub after its refurbishment. Had a lunch deal for main and a drink for £10. I had the cod gourjons sandwich with a Diet Pepsi, mum had 3 cheese toastie and a Diet Pepsi and we shared a bowl of chips. Food very fresh and a good size. We decided to have half of each others sandwiches so I can say both sandwiches were delicious and as I’ve said fresh. Staff professional and polite and helpful when I asked for salt and they also came over to make sure we were ok and happy with the food Did 3 for atmosphere as was lunch time, but early (approx 11:45) so quiet. Nice and peaceful and…

Nice pub at a great location with a really good and upbeat vibe about it. You'll have to remortgage your house to be able to afford a drink here but that aside, a great spot for a drink or two.

Historic and well located pub (near the station and central to Wimbledon). There were a few ales on pump and plenty of drinks in general to choose from. The food was decent and reasonably priced and the overall atmosphere was family friendly.
