About Royal Oak

Multi-roomed pub, saved from closure by Barter Inns after the previous pubco went into receivership. Set back from the road by a large car park in front of it. The main bar (entered from the side) is long and thin whilst the smaller bar at the front is a square shape. There is also a reasonably-sized room connecting with the front bar which houses a dartboard and a pool table.

Occasionally a Bexley Brewery beer will additionally be served.

New management trying very hard to bring the place back to what it used to be, atmosphere was pleasant, currently Thursdays and Fridays are the busiest night of the week. First live music since before COVID , I think, was on 29th July, glad to report Allen Kaye hasn't lost it and it was reasonably well attended.

Lovely place, great staff, very friendly, good prices and excellent garden out the back. Show all the sports when they can, friendly locals and really good variety of drinks on offer! Bit strange having separate bars that aren't accessible without going outside but once you understand the setup it works really well.
