About Scolt Head
Pub with bright bar and wooden floors, serving British food prepared from carefully sourced produce.
An interesting pub on a great corner site with lots of outdoor seating, a real fire, and a back room with the biggest tv screen our reviewer has ever seen in a pub. Bare boards and stripped back interior, wooden tables with candles. Right-hand bar is dining orientated with rear left-hand games/TV lounge. Keg beers include two from the nearby 40FT Brewery.
The pub was taken over by a local resident couple who have named the pub after their favourite part of Norfolk - Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve, an area of continually changing sand dune, beach and salt marsh. Nearest tube Highbury and Islington (15 mins) although for Scolt Head Island itself heading for Burnham Market might be slightly better. Buses 242, 243, 38, 76, 73, 56, 141.

Awesome little neighbourhood boozer 🍻 in the heart of De Beauvoir. Crisp selection is on point, darts 🎯, board games, show the football at the weekends and have Stone & Wood 🍺 on tap. Plus there’s a nice little outdoor space. Good crowd of regulars too.

Do you want the Britishs' Sunday roast at a local pub? We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service.

Came here for a Sunday roast. I had the vegetarian mushroom wellington and my partner had the lamb. We both enjoyed our meals and the overall vibe. The weather was really nice so we were able to comfortably eat in the garden. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. It's nice to find a good veg Sunday roast that isn't boring. I believe there was a vegan roast as well. Friendly staff as well and solid beer selection - even had multiple non-alcoholic beer options.

I had the pork Sunday roast and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All in all, the roast was okay. Unfortunately, it's a little bland for my taste. A little salt and pepper helped a long way. What I couldn’t change was the temperature. Upon arrival, my plate was quite cold. I saw the steam coming from my food, so surely the food wouldn’t be cold. The meat and some veggies were warm, but the whole dish quickly became cold. The potatoes were cold and dry, too. I wholeheartedly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. It was very delicious and not too sweet. The plate and the dessert were…

One of our favourite Sunday roasts! Pub was very busy and bustling. Wait time was a bit long but the staff were very nice and everyone was helpful. The Sunday roast was delicious and very filling. We will be back for sure. Thank you for great service!
