This delightful pub is one of London’s hidden gems. Absolutely amazing food!! The ribs are huge and delicious, and the steak is thick, juicy and tender. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. The owner, Basia, makes you feel at home and you can see the place is run with love and care. I’d give it 6 starts if I could. I’ll be back…!

My favourite pub in London! Their burgers are an absolute must!! Don’t forget the cheese and bacon :) my friends and I always go on Mondays for the 2 for 1 burger deal. Their quiz night is fun and free on Thursday evenings!

Arguably the best pub I’ve been to in London, one of the best quizzes as well. Foods great, lots of vegan and meat options, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Don’t think you can ask for warmer staff either!

If there were 10 stars I’d give it! This pub is AMAZING!!! The staff, the food, the drinks, the patrons - you want an English, true true pub - The Ship and Whale is the place! You have to try their burger special and anything else you can imagine, you won’t be disappointed! The Tomato Soup is easily the best I’ve ever eaten. My honeymoon was made that much more special by this pub! They are amazing! This pub made me want to stay in London - a MUST to check out! Will definitely be back! ❤️

A very unfriendly and racist experience! The waitress served all the tables around us but never talked to us until I reached out to her. Then I was told they were very busy today, but it seems that they are only busy serving and being nice to all the white people so that they don't have time for us. We were sitting outside and when it started to rain, I was told we have to put up the parasol by myself because once again, they are "busy". In terms of the food, we ordered the Sunday roast only to find the gravy and roasted potatoes are not as good as the frozen ones bought from Iceland. A…
