About Somers Town Coffee House

Traditional pub with chunky tables and bright sofas, open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The pub history dates back to the early eighteenth century, when it was a coffee house, and then a tea garden and resort. It appears to have been rebuilt in the 1920s, when the adjacent block of council flats was put up. Internally, there seem to have been a number of refits, with 1920s fireplaces and more modern features visible. The large single room has a central bar with mosaic work on the bar back. Lots off wood panelling and large mirrors enhance the atmosphere. There are four handpumps plus a selection of craft keg beer.

The floor is polished wood, with tiles round the bar. The main drinking area, with a 1970s electrolier, extends to a small, heated and partly covered beer garden at the rear: there are also tables along the front terrace. There is piped music but no TV.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served - go to the pub's website for more details - operating an all day menu updated with new dishes every three weeks. Sunday roasts until they have sold out.

The pub is about 350m from Euston main line, tube and bus stations, through a passage from Doric Way. There is a speakeasy cocktail bar, the Cosy Kettle, in the basement that is open after the pub has closed.

A brilliant pub that is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of St. Pancras/Kings Cross and Euston Stations. Easy walk . Despite the name, it is a beautiful pub that has got it all sorted. Real Ales, cold lagers, good wine selection and a garden to sit in to enjoy it. Added bonus is the Gluten-free Fish and Chips. In the evening, past 5pm, the very "cool-vibe" cocktail bar opens its doors downstairs. So you have a choice of a traditional pub OR a funky cocktail bar. A great find that just may become our "local" whenever we are staying in the King's Cross area.

Located near the St.Pancras International Station, time flies in this awesome place when you're with your family and friends. Good food.. great choice of drinks and a warm atmosphere will make you come back for more. The outdoor seating is great, albeit, a bit cramped. The food is good. It would be incomplete without mentioning the service quality, which was really good. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if anyone is looking to have some good times with their friends or family over drinks and good food.

I was here on a work training session, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was nice, the atmosphere was ok, it was overall a good experience, the boardroom was great for a small work session.

I've been here twice now and both times I've received great service and delicious food. Staff were really attentive and it wasn't a long wait for food. We went around 2.30pm on a weekday so it was fairly quiet inside. I would recommend the fish and chips. Huge portion and really nice. I also ordered the baba ganoush on my second visit and that dish was OK :) Plenty of small plate options too. Would definitely recommend the fish cakes and mussels!

I booked the Somers town a few days before I was going and with there being alot of availability I wasn't sure if it would be ok, however it was a wonderful cute place for a Sunday brunch and I highly recommend, forget the new food courts and areas and find this gem just behind st Pancreas station. There was a large brunch selection including good vegetarian and vegan options, large portions, seafood, coffees and cocktails. I had the full vegan and it was perfect, highly recommend
