About St George's Tavern
Victorian pub (one of the city's first cabaret saloons) with exposed-brick walls, serving cask ales.
Large traditional pub dating from 1831 and possibly the oldest in Pimlico, catering for a mix of tourists, local office workers and those just out for an enjoyable sojourn. It has a fine wooden bar counter and back bar, glazed wooden screens dividing the room and three impressive chandeliers. The cask ales are supplemented by keg offerings and Meantime beers stored in three large tanks beside the bar. Nicholson's standard menu of classic pub food is priced competitively and includes Sunday roasts. Note alcohol not for sale until noon on Sundays.

Traditional pub with a 150 history as St. George / Nicholson's hosting a walk-up bar. I enjoyed a lively atmosphere full of locals and tourists enjoying laughs & brews. Don't forget to check out the shot specials at 4 for £18 to get your evening started. I didn't see anyone eating at 5 pm thus, I didn't try the food. It's a nice place to throw back a few if you're near Victoria Station.

Wonderful environment. Friendly & efficient. Great meal-> fish & chips, beef pie, macaroni were fabulous. Reasonably priced.

Leaving drinks for colleagues from work on the basement area. It was really nice location, at the back of Victoria Station. The Pub staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere in the place. Very well kept PH and a lovely place to meet friends for drinks. I did not have any food, so I can't comment on it. Plenty of seat outside also. Recommended for groups who wish to have a reserved area to have work drinks.

This was the perfect last meal for our trip to London. My husband and I each ordered a pie and they were both delicious. Our server was fantastic and made us feel welcomed.

The host was very friendly and reserved a table outside for me. The waitstaff was also very friendly. Ordering on phone was easy. Most of all, I loved the vegetarian cottage pie! I almost came back the next night to get it again. It was the best cottage/shepherd’s pie I’ve ever had (meat or vegetarian), but I especially loved that it was vegetarian and still so good. I wish I had the recipe!
