About Tommyfield
British pub with rooms, famed for its steaks & homemade pies, plus an award-winning comedy club.
Smart, mainly food-led pub operated by the Three Cheers Pub Co. with a contemporary feel (was refurbished in 2010) and named after the 19th century market that was home to Britain's first fish and chip shop. Today's food offering, however, extends well beyond just fish and chips, and much of the food comes from sustainable sources. Accommodation was added in 2014. Upstairs is the Master Room, with its own bar, for private parties and events, and hosts one of London’s best stand-up comedy gigs every other Thursday.

The room was clean and presentable. I had a broken toilet seat, shower water didn’t wash away, pooled and almost flooded near the radiator. Extremely warm and then cold but I think that’s because of the crazy weather at the moment in the UK. The bar downstairs is lovely and drinks are reasonable. You are able to get 33% off food if you stay in a room which is brilliant. I would recommend.

Nice pub with a comedy venue upstairs (which was absolutely brilliant - wish we lived closer to come more regularly). We came in a Friday evening where there was a 241 offer at the bar although it took ages to be served as only one member of bar staff. We didn’t eat here but the food looked and smelled good!

Started well, warm reception at the bar from the long haired gentleman. However, when I sat down the older gentleman, bit short and tubby, was rather unwelcoming. Shuffling around the tables, providing better table service to others and trying to usher me out. In the future, sir make sure you distribute equal service to all customers, despite your uncomfortable nature with the difference of one. Farewell, merry Christmas. Ho ho ho!

Very pleasant pub. We didn’t stay here so no score for the room but the service was very good even though it was busy and the food decent.

A best kept secret, you're in for a treat. Comedy held in a venue that is second to none. Great food and a nice pint to boot. Seriously, it is the best venue in town, for crowd work and top rated comedians, pure joy 👌
