It's a really nice pub, but typically packed on a Friday evening. The Black Cab Stout is a nice alternative to Guinness and has a really cool glass, which you can see in one of my pictures. Very friendly, helpful staff. I didn't eat here, so I haven't rated the food.

Great old style pub with classic mirrored walls and engraved ceiling. Good selection of beers and ales on draught. The gin range is impressive.

Nice small pub by Royal Courts of Justice and St Bartholomew's Hospital. Fullers pub with a good selection of beers, wine and spirits. Staff were friendly and welcoming

One wall is covered in romanesque painted glass set between bevelled mirrors & marble over a highly decorative base. Tall tables & chairs cross an aged wood floor below antique cut glass inverted droplet chandeliers, beside a large central bar. The back bar is a work of art…

GO HERE!! We had the most incredible time at the viaduct tavern because we are massive fans of both history AND Buzzfeed Unsolved, and we asked Georgia (the bartender working) if we could go downstairs and see the basement and old Gaol. Not only did she take us down there, but she gave us a thorough tour of the history and the ghost stories of the tavern. She even let us stand in the jail room with the lights off (at our request), which fulfilled a lifelong dream of ours! We can’t thank Georgia enough for fulfilling our wish so wonderfully. If you’re a fan of history, Buzzfeed Unsolved or…
