About Waterloo Tap
20 kegs and 6 casks are on constant rotation at this beer funky bar in an arched venue.
One of the 'Tap' independent chain, this small bar is strategically located in a railway arch on the pedestrian route between the South Bank attractions and Waterloo railway and Underground stations. Whilst often crowded, there is ample additional outdoor covered seating at the front and another narrow fenced-off patio area to the rear. The five changing cask ales and a real cider, dispensed from taps mounted centrally on the copper bar-back, are flanked by 20 keg taps and all are prominently displayed on a blackboard above. There is usually at least one dark beer. The cider may not always comply with CAMRA’s definition of real cider. Children welcome until 6pm.
Two toilets here - one marked Urinal and the other Toilet, the latter being unisex and for mobility impaired persons.
Card payment only.

Located under one of the brick arches of a railway bridge. Interesting interior, good beer, varied offer, OK service. A pleasant place, where I would return.

Don't be put off by the rather uninteresting exterior! This little place is the perfect stop for a beer. The barmaid had the great combination of friendly welcome, offering a taste before you choose, and knowing how to pour beer. Really well done 👏 The huge beer selection has something for everyone who likes beer. Although they don't do food you can order a takeaway and eat in. Great for a beer before you catch a train from Waterloo station, which is 2 minutes away. If I could give them one piece of advice it would be to smarten up the outside seating areas, which are basic rather than…

For craft beer this is the place to be, as other bars have limited variety. The taps operator knows what to recommend and how to pour. The Marble Beers Clyde DIPA was outstanding. There is indoor and outdoor seating and restrooms. Cashless only.

🚇 Waterloo 🍺 £5.80 Bitburger Pilsner ❤️ An atmospheric Waterloo watering hole. . The Waterloo Tap is located in a railway arch that ironically emanates from Charing Cross rather than Waterloo station. The nearest Tube is just across the road at Waterloo. . This popular pub/bar opened its doors in March 2016 and is the sister of the ever busy Euston Tap. . The decor here is modern and vibrant, the location makes for a very atmospheric setting. If you enter from the Sutton Walk entrance the attractive servery will be on your left. There is a copper back bar where the taps are, above is a…
