About Westminster Arms
Traditional pub near Houses of Parliament, favoured by politicians and journos, with division bell.
A small, convivial, wood panelled pub close to Westminster Abbey, the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Methodist Central Hall, St James's Park, and the Houses of Parliament. The pub was rebuilt in 1913 and is now one of a small number of central pubs still equipped with a Commons division bell. It's a frequent hang out for lobbyists, policy wonks, even the odd politician being treated (shurely shome mishtake?). But apart from the suits, it has been described as "there’s some magic in the air too, as if a whiff of Soho found its way to SW1".
Note the beautiful illustrated signwork above the ground-floor bar. Intimate drinking booths lending themselves to conspiracy and plotting if not heinous political manoeuvrings run along two sides of the downstairs stone flagged Storey's Wine Bar that serves bar food.
Children may eat in the upstairs restaurant that also serves as function room. Reasonably unobtrusive TV screens in all bars. Apparently those of a nervous disposition should be aware that the pub is haunted by the ghost of a small boy who died in a fire many years ago.

We’re looking for a place to have our lunch and we find this pub. It’s situated near Westminster in a quiet area . The place is very nice and clean , there’s a bar downstairs and at the second level there’s a room where you can sit and enjoy your meal. The service is very excellent, the waiters are very nice, kind and friendly! The food came very fast and it was delicious! We’re very happy to have found this place ! Obviously we recommend you to visit this location 😊

Great British boozer in the heart of Westminster, London. Steeped in history and character. Have a cold pint on the pavement outside and enjoy the surroundings.

Proper old school London pub. Stones throw from Westminster and big Ben. Friendly staff and good drinks selection. Popular with the after work crowd. Good NA selection of beer also. Plenty of bitter on tap.

Great atmosphere and service, but the beer on tap could have been a bit colder. It has that typical London pub vibe that we all love, but beware, fellow vegetarians: there are not many options (which is the norm for a pub). I will definitely visit once again!

Nice old style pub for a quick pint. Lovely owner and staff with lots of info about the beers and the local area. Well worth a visit if your visiting the UK or fancy a nice drink in a historical setting. Just round the corner from Winston Churchills statue.
