About Zerodegrees
Craft beer fresh from the tanks & pizzas in a modern, industrial-chic microbrewery.
The first to open (in 2000) in a small chain of restaurant bars each with its own in-house brewery designed along German lines. Others are in Bristol, Cardiff and Reading. The brewery is fully visible inside with lots of stainless steel in evidence. In-house brewed beers are piped from tanks to taps at the bar. Full scale restaurant facilities with open to view kitchen and pizza oven. Closed in mid 2013 for major refurbishment and expansion and re-opened in time for Christmas 2013. Excellent views across Blackheath and an outside drinking area out the front. In-house beers can be taken away in sealed metal containers for home or party quaffing. No trainers policy on Friday and Saturday evenings. May cease service early any night if business is light so if very late night drinking is your need then ring ahead for hours confirmation.

Pizza was yum, but there was a quiet a long waiting time despite the fact the restaurant was half empty. Mango beer was our favourite part of the meal haha, the desert we wanted was unavailable and we have been offered waffle which didn't impress us as we could get it easily from the shop. One of our purposes of going eating out is to try something new or have what you not gonna make home / can't easily buy everywhere.

Had a nice lunch here in the sun. The pizza was good without being mind blowing. The beer was very nice. We tried the pilsner. Service was excellent and prices were good. Their £15 for two pizzas on Monday deal looks great value. Sure we’ll be back for that soon enough.

My Go-To Spot for Mussels, Chips, and Craft Beer! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zero Degree in Blackheath, and it truly stands out as a gem in the area. Despite being a large restaurant, the space is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully divided into different areas, making it feel cozy and intimate. There’s a special charm to every corner, whether you’re settling in for a relaxed meal or celebrating something special. One of the highlights is their event room, which is perfect for hosting gatherings or celebrations. Plus, they have a fantastic rooftop — ideal for enjoying food…

Special Lobster bisque mussels- not a bisque, not even broth... Just water, no flavour. Creole mussels was slightly bit better. Would also argue if it's 1 kilo... Beer also not as it's used to be back few years, flat, no flavour. Service sort of fine, but was not delivered what we asked for. Probably last time we visited this place.

Delicious pizza with a good selection of beer. Also in a great location near Blackheath Common. There are a variety of pizzas flavours including classics such as margherita and American through to unique pizza flavours such as Jamaican chicken. The venue has an outside patio and plenty of space inside and is a good spot for groups. The picture is of a Jamaican chicken pizza.
