Popped in before the match for a quick pint. Very efficient bar staff, despite how busy it was, and reasonable prices too. Perfect start to what proved to be a brilliant afternoon - 5-nil Palace!

The ultimate local pub. A charming combination of tradition and modernity - from pictures of the historic location through the years to plenty of TVs for watching the match, from beautiful wood panelling and floors to a high tech juke box allowing you to play your favourite songs from the convenience of your mobile device. They also have an exceptional selection of drinks, and are one of the few pubs in the high street area to stock Islay scotch. The landlady is very welcoming and the locals are all friendly and smiling. It's the kind of pub that lets you blend into the background and…

A local no frills friendly pub with the standard array of beers. All of which we need to support and protect/ keep going!

Always an exceptionally poured pint of Guinness, now also serve Cruzcampo, and do a great karaoke night every other Friday.

Average pub with sports coverage on the two tv's, usually football and horse racing during the football season. Restricted to Palace supporters on football match days. Also on match days the drinks are served in plastic glasses. This pub is very busy on match days. Additionally they have security on the door.
