About Joiners Arms
This traditional local is the most southerly pub with a London area postcode. The interior is filled with brassware and a host of other artefacts. Although a one bar pub, there are three distinct drinking areas. Monday is quiz night and karaoke evenings feature every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The kitchen is being refurbished and they are hoping to serve food again early in 2025.

🚇 Norwood Junction 🍺 £5.20 Heineken A Must Visit London Pub. The Joiners Arms is London’s most southerly pub with a London postcode. It’s located on Woodside Green in South Norwood, South London. The nearest station is Norwood Junction, it’s a fifteen minute walk to get here. Alternatively, there is a Tram stop just around the corner. The Joiners Arms opened its doors in 1856 by the Ind Coope & Allsopp Brewery. The architecture of this pub is that of a Country Pub, which would have been the case when it was built before being swallowed up by suburban London. This is a one bar pub that…

Wow, what a pub this is! There aren’t many left like this in London, the interior and exterior are unspoilt and oh so beautiful for it. The pub is run by the longest serving landlady in London and it retains all the charm, warmth and comfort a proper pub should do. This pub has a real sense of community, never more apparent than on Sundays when it’s karaoke night. On top of that the beer is excellently kept, I had a few pints of Landlord that were in top shape and the Guinness is great too. Hopefully this pub survives in this manner for many years to come, it’s a welcome respite from the…

Was a spare of the moment visit. We live few minutes walk away. It was a lovely atmosphere and they had karaoke. The staff were lovely and friendly. Will definitely visit again

Nice, old fashioned pub. Rather run down and not the cleanest but the staff and owners are very pleasent. Karaoke is on Wednesday nights and is now hosted by a young man and more karaoke with different hosts other nights of the week including Saturday.
