Had a wonderful Saturday evening dinner and drinks at The Apollo. We had the cheeseburger and fries and the fish and chips with some delicious sides of fries, peas, mash and curry sauce of course! These were both outstanding dishes. But also, don’t go without getting the cheese croquettes - beautifully crisp outside and to die for! The service was the best I’ve had in London, they were busy, but our waitress, Estella, still made us feel like royalty. Atmosphere was 10/10, beautifully run pub. Manager on duty (pretty sure his name was Freddie) made our experience all the more enjoyable. Will…

A lovely establishment. The team were very friendly and the food was delish! I’ll happily return when I’m back in the area. We had Fish and chips, and the Chicken Parmigiana.

We loved everything about our experience in The Apollo Arms! Staff were super friendly and helpful when chosing the dishes, the atmosphere inside is really cool-pub with many different spaces (and a big outside terrace) and the food was great! It is pricey but for a pub tje quality of the food was great. We ordered the ragú pasta, the schnitzel and the foie gras and really happy with them all! Specially the schnitzel. We will come back for sure!!

Stopped by for roast with a group of friends. While the chicken and the pork were amazing, the roast sirloin was quite strange. It tasted almost akin to beef jerky. The texture is soft and not dry, but also very sweet. It didn’t hit the mark for us.

I’m very critical when it comes to a Sunday Roast but I was pleasantly impressed by the Apollo arms! Firstly, I accidentally booked the wrong Sunday and turned up on the wrong weekend (lol) and they still accommodated. Secondly, I loved the beautiful interiors. Lastly, the roast was superb. The potatoes were fluffy and crispy, lovely big Yorkshire, well cooked tender meat, lashings of gravy without making everything soggy. Every part of the roast was flavoursome. I’ve seen reviews comment that it’s on the smaller side. But for me, each element of the roast being well executed is more…
