About Tim Bobbin
Tranquil gastropub with deep blue decor offering modern Italian-influenced menu, and a beer garden.
Upmarket backstreet gastropub somewhat improbably named after an 18th century Lancashire dialect poet and engraver whose work adorns the walls, ceiling and even the cigarette machine. Sunday evening quiz. Meals all day at weekends. A few etched glass panes survive in the doors to the street and a Watneys Red Barrel fascia, curiously, on the bar back.
The name had until recently been shortened to the Bobbin for several years.

Great atmosphere. We sat outside and very well decorated. I got a roast beef and the ingredients were very fresh. It’s a transitional style. Service was a bit slow but other than that it was an amazing experience

Hosted a Christmas lunch for friends here on Sunday. The manager kindly brought our reservation forward so we could have the table for longer. The food here is always good, well portioned and the meats seasoned nicely and cooked with plenty of flavour sealed in. All the starters were great especially the calamari and ham hock terrine. The pub was nicely decorated, felt really Christmassy. Only minus is that if you’re in the front part of the pub, and you have a large group (like we did) it can get quite loud and you end up having to almost shout to be heard. Dog friendly which is a plus…

Great sunday roast! Place is really nice with a terrace and peace and quiet at the back. A proper british pub with a proper roast and thick gravy.

Traditional, but really well maintained and attractive, pub that caters to the wealthy Clapham Old Town set. Expect to pay over £6 for a traditional pint of Timothy Taylor, but it is worth it. Can get busy. Didn't eat, so I can not comment.

Dog friendly pub with lovely garden out the back. Popped in today last minute and got a table for 2 and a dog. We chose the perfect time to arrive (12pm) because as we ordered our Sunday roasts, they were brought out in 5 minutes time. All the staff were friendly and loved dogs. They were also very attentive to us, even as the restaurant got busier. Food & drinks were exceptional!
