About Bar Malden
Large town centre bar. One L shaped bar with two seating areas, the upper one looking out onto the square and the lower one looking out to the High Street and the passing trains. The interior is quirky and based on a cinema theme with vibrant colours, and classic retro movie posters. TV screens usually show the news. Reasonable prices. Outside seating in the square and on the High Street.

This was an epithany experience, especially as I wasnt expecting anything special. The staff made us feel welcome straight away, without any fuss. We decided to stay and eat and both enjoyed our meals having different dishes. I am living in Putney but would consider making a regular trip back to this place every couple.of weeks as a treat or as a local. Great effort guys keeping up the standards so well, this is how we expected our pubs to be back in the day! Ken Muir

I recently visited Bar Malden, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way! Prices, Music, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a small gathering with friends. A very competitive price! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The selection of drinks is impressive, with a variety of craft beers, well-curated cocktails, and a solid range of spirits. The menu featured a variety of tasty small bites and heartier options that perfectly complemented the drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Chill atmosphere and the food was delicious! I recommend the sweet potato fries and the chicken wings with soy sauce;) Service was good, friendly staff and this place has clean amenities👍🏼

The food is good, yet not great. The staff are friendly. The environment is clean. The prices for drinks are more than wetherspoons. However, you can guarantee a seat, unlike in the Watchman.

Update: Damn! This place is amazing 👏 great food and really reasonable. You must try. They just added chicken katsu to their menu which I never order because its too bland but the chef said this is different amd it really delivers... a little kick, soo good. Pad Thai really tasty. And washed down with my new fave pint of Neck Oil. Really recommend. Original: First time back here in ages, I heard they have new Vietnamese pop up kitchen. The Banh Mi was amazing. Chicken and pork combined. Really fresh, tasty and recommended. I'll be back to try the other dishes - the crispy pork bowl sounds…
