About Bull's Head Hotel
Traditional English pub dating from 1753, with 3 bars and stylish guestrooms
This was originally a busy coaching inn with rooms for travellers and was a small hotel when bought by Young's in 1931. It was hit by enemy bombing in 1945 but was quickly reopened.
Today, it remains a Grade II listed hotel with 15 guest rooms, but also boasts 3 bars (all open to the public) - each with their own atmosphere and character. The main bar area is family friendly and shows all the major sporting events. The Lounge Bar is like taking a step back in time to the days of the old fashioned traditional snug bar, with wing back chairs, roaring fire and quirky ornaments.
There is a sizeable garden to the rear with wooden benches.
Breakfast is served 7 to 10.30 am Monday to Saturday. Lunch is served noon to 4 pm Monday to Saturday. Dinner is served 4 to 9.30 pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday roast is served noon to 9 pm Sunday . Afternoon tea is served noon to 5 pm Tuesday to Saturday.

I cannot compliment this place enough. This time we took our two dogs who were both greeted with doggie hampers. Rooms are beautiful. Food and staff are amazing they cannot do enough for you. Just one of our favourite places.

Very recent one night stay - room was well appointed - small but perfectly formed, bed comfortable, shower lovely. Breakfast delicious - excellent quality. All staff we encountered were professional and, above all, very friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to assist. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of London. Very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast served is excellent and the menu is simple but offers enough variation. Close to the hotel is a bus stop that can take you to central London in about an hour using bus, train and the underground. Had a lovely time here and would stay here again for a future visit!

unfortunately my mum and i decided to come here for afternoon tea. we have been a couple times before for afternoon tea but this time we will not be returning again. for two people it is £50, but please see sizing in the attached photos. upon arriving, the afternoon tea room had changed and we wouldn’t recommend coming here for a girly tea— it is very dark and masculine. the service was incredibly slow and it took almost an hour for it to arrive. we were offered a glass of bubbly to apologise for the wait which was nice. the actual food itself was stale- please see attached photo for a stale…

Lovely venue where I had the privilege of photographing a wedding! The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and responsive to any questions I had. I truly hope to have the opportunity to photograph here again!
