About Sydney Arms

This pub is rather hidden away on what was formerly the main road from Chislehurst to Sidcup, but is now a quiet residential street It is very close to an entrance to Scadbury Park, and so is popular with walkers. The subsequent alterations and extensions include a conservatory built in the 1980s. Although the pub has a focus on food, casual drinkers are also welcome. The pub is carpeted throughout with historical photos adorning the walls and has a good website.

Hired the “private” function room for an event at the weekend. Paid £299, for a buffet for 20 head, food was great but no where near enough for 20 people and poor selection, compared to when I used the venue 3 years old. I had people with dogs and prams walks through my private function, even the manager standing over the buffer food on his phone talking loudly. Girls behind the bar were great! Food not what I expected at all, I spend the week on the build to the event calling me the pub as I had no heard anything from there since my booking made 4 months ago, food was served by paper plates…

Been there twice now and what an amazing place to go to and amazing food. My chicken wrap and chips was amazing. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. If I was not driving today i would of stayed there longer for a pint of fosters than a pint of coke lol

Busy pub and restaurant, tucked away from the main road and away from Chistlehurst High Street. Lots of blokes having a lunchtime and afternoon pint, plus lots of friends and families having Sunday lunch. Nice spacious garden seating area. Sunday roast was delicious. Friendly staff.
