About Camden Eye
Craft cocktails & beer in a vibrant pub with a comfort food menu, plus regular live music & DJs.
Following a pub visit in Nov 2023 - just the one cask beer available. Laine Bestit was the beer available. An earlier vistor had found no cask at all so pleased to report one is still available.
In April 2017 the operator New Pub Co was acquired by Laine Pub Co. A February 2018 refurbishment saw the number of handpumps reduced to two with beers from London breweries or Laine. A small, one-room triangular pub on the corner of Kentish Town Rd & Camden Rd, with an entrance on both roads, within easy walking distance of ten bus routes, this might be the best located of Camden's pubs. Recently refurbished in 2006 this was the Halfway House, a Taylor Walker Arkwrights style bar. The new look consists of high stools and tables. Closest tube Camden Town, rail Camden Road and all busses which pass through/terminate at Camden Town.

I rather like this pub. It is a bit different what with the old fashioned wallpaper and the multitude of posters covering up said wallpaper. The bar is on two levels and they do host various events, from music to comedy. There is a food menu which I did not try. The service is warm and friendly. They do have various draft beers and ciders but only one cask beer (London Pride). They also have a good whisky selection, I settled on a double Monkey Shoulder for £10 and a rather expensive (for a 2.8% IPA) Satellite at £7.10. In summary a pub worth a visit.

Great pub right opposite Camden Underground with a good mix of punk rock music and a nice atmosphere! The bar staff is very friendly and attentive and the crowd is usually quite mixed, which is great!

I think I was too long in the tooth for this pub. The music was loud, even at 6pm. Not really what I wanted after a 10 hour work shift. Still, it was good to see a place busy, the Amstel was good and cool and the clutch of regulars enjoyed the atmosphere. Camden has a lot of live music / stand up establishment's and the Eye has an extensive list of events, which is slso great to see. Xmas and Halloween have never stopped at the Eye. I'm probably not too old, just wasn't a good day for me.

Great pub close to the tube station, definitely worth checking out! The staff is really friendly and helpful. Great food, nice vibes with great rock/punk music! You will not regret stopping by and enjoy the atmosphere!

The Sunday roast is absolutely delicious. I recommend the roast chicken which was perfectly cooked with a very generous portion of gravy. The staff is friendly. The music is great (Oasis, Arctic Monkeys). I’ll be back!
