About Oxford Arms
Traditional pub with an all day menu, sport on TV, quiz and fruit machines plus a small terrace.
Open plan, high-ceilinged pub on corner of Jamestown Rd., midway between Camden Town and Chalk Farm stations. The Oxford Arms dates back to early Victorian times with its high ceilings and original sash windows. While the decor reveals obvious results of refurbishment, one entrance retains the original wall tiling and mosaic flooring well worth a look at.
Inside is a similar mix of old and new - five plasma TVs cater for the sports crowd, while B&W photos of old Camden nod in the direction of the pub's and the area's history. Food served until 21.00 daily, the menu covers the full range of options from all-day breakfasts to some calorie-laden desserts via a lengthy list of specials.
The pub has been run by three generations of the Mayo Maloney family since 1968. Free to entry quiz Mondays. Beer garden at rear. Buses 24, 168.

This is hands down one of the best pubs in Camden! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The pub itself is spotless and incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect place for families to relax and enjoy a great meal. The staff, however, are what truly make this place exceptional. Simon, Mario, Ozzy, and Nial went above and beyond to provide exquisite service throughout our visit. Each of them was so friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had a fantastic time. You can really feel the passion they have for…

A typical English bar. Quite big, rather simple interior, lots of drink options. It also has a small outdoor terrace. The staff was OK. I drank a beer and continued on my way. Nothing special.

It was a very ☔️ rainy day, we ran into the first pub we saw, great outside covered seating area, perfect for the weather. Toilets clean & drinks usual London prices. I would definitely go back to this pub when I am in Camden again.

A little crowded on a Wednesday evening filled with tourists. The table wasn't wiped and cleaned after the previous customers left. We had to clean the table. The beer on taps were good. We ordered a platter and we liked the wings best. Overall, it is 3.5 stars for the ambience, food, and service.
