Great historic pub. Lots of outdoor seating and a great view of the river and boats. Services are a bit unique u have to order food and drinks at the bar on the main floor and then tell them which table number you are at. They have all the classics like fish and chips etc.it took a while to get the food which was good tho. great beer selection we had a bitter and a stout which were excellent 👌💂🐟🍻

Do not be put off by the rather unpleasant entrance, inside this is a delightful pub with heaps of character overlooking the river. Being a Sam Smiths pub there is a lack of choice of drinks. I ordered an Old Brewery at £6, it was OK. They have a large exterior terrace with great river views. Even if you are not a fan of Sam Smiths I would recommend you visit this pub, even if for only one drink.

Fantastic pub, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of London by the Thames. Good beer, sizeable beer garden and charming indoor area. Had the bacon and cheese burger which exceeded my expectations for the price. Fries were nice too albeit a bit crunchy. Would highly recommend.

I love this place and have been many times for a drink to admire the views. We tried the food, but it was average for my taste; I would rate it 5.8 out of 10. However, the service was very good. Overall, it's a great place to have a drink with friends, enjoy the friendly terrace, and appreciate the beauty of the building. I do recommend :)

We did a pub crawl and checked out 4 pubs. Captain Kidd came out the top. It’s inviting from the entrance. 3 floors of space and an outdoor area that will definitely fit a birthday party or corporate bash. Good choice of beers. Friendly staff. Toilets were clean. Love the old wooden seats inside. And the boards of info on the fate of Captain Kidd and where he hide the treasures … lovely pub with great views of the river. Will be back.
