Went on a Wednesday night and found the place to be quite busy. Pub downstairs particularly though I found upstairs a bit quieter restaurant which was really nicely classic. The beer selection is quite wide and don't forget to ask the staff about seasonal beers. The staff was very courteous and and went out of their way to recommend beers. Got the scotch egg which was probably the highlight of the dinner. Particularly the sauce. Oysters were good though served with strong sauce so I didn't really taste the raw oyster too much. Mains were not the best. Fish and chips were the best I had in…

Everything was perfect. Honestly, one of the best restaurants to try in London. It’s a pub yes but the real geam is the restaurant on the first floor. Make sure to try the tomato salad, fish and chips, scotch eggs, and the meat pie and mash!

Wonderful pub for a Sunday late lunch. We had the fish & chips, burger and the trio of meat roast on a Sunday. Food was absolutely knock out - the roast was top drawer! Service was friendly, efficient and polite. Great all round experience and will certainly be back soon. Thank you!!

High end pub restaurant with prices reflecting this; advisable to book as very popular. The food was all excellent. Delicious & with a creative twist. Wonderful pie of the week; & fish & chips were delicious & a generous portion. Staff lovely & with a sense of humour which I always appreciate. We had a great evening. Thanks!

Wonderful staff, unusually wide selection of liquors, a beautiful and maximally decorated space. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all including young women. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Big shout out to my bartender who posed for this lovely photo - what a ray of sunshine ☀️ which reflects on the overall team who are all kind and offer a high level of hospitality.
