About Depot

Elevated pub with modern interiors & a terrace supplying small plates, brunch & British staples.

At last again there is a pub in Kidbrooke, the previous one being the long closed Wat Tyler in Telemann Square on the Ferrier Estate. New build Young's house, in the self-styled Kidbrooke Village development and close to the railway station, that opened on 10th April 2019. The pub's name refers to the past siting of an RAF station here and its building housing stored barrage balloons, and one wall has a mural reflecting this. Lots of exposed brickwork and ducting and with a contemporary ambience and furnishings. Quiz night Thursday. 3 handpumps.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Depot. Our server Hannah, was super attentive, and fast. We had a beautiful Trio Roast, and unreal Depot burger. The chefs were brilliant. We didn’t get any pictures, as we just dove straight in, we will be a returning customer. Thanks Hannah for a lovely service :)

The vegan roast potatoes this Sunday were so perfectly done and were lovely and crispy! This is my local and we often come in for a post-work beer or two. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is warm and cozy, especially at the moment with all the Christmas decorations! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Make it your local!

I went there because of all the good reviews. However, I have to say that I am disappointed with it. To start with, their front door does not work properly. You really have to pull it really hard to open the door. The menu is not informative with the gluten free information. There is only one item marked as gluten free on the many. I asked the waiter, he says that is correct. However, I decided to ask another person that was actually helpful in finding out allergies information for me. However, I was let down by the food. The portion is small compared to the price. The starter was cooked…

We really enjoyed our visit to The Depot. Great looking pub, with lots of space and good decor. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and fairly priced. I would highly recommend the Chicken and Leek Pie if you’re after a hearty and filling meal. I couldn’t fault this place and hence 5 solid stars. Definitely coming again.

The staff here make THE BEST cocktails! The Depot has a great aesthetic indoors and is refreshingly clean and well kept, the outside seating is superb, and the vibe is always good indoors or out. The staff are always super friendly and polite. It's a bit quieter than other pubs due to location but it's a hidden gem. I'd say if you like a loud, bustling pub this is NOT the place for you. I haven't eaten here so couldn't comment on the food.
