About Dirty Dicks
3-floor pub with wood panelling, named after notoriously dirty, local 18th-century warehouse.
Renowned city hostelry evoking Hogarth's London. The name commemorates Nathaniel Bentley, a London dandy who was so devastated by the death of his fiancee that afterwards he dressed shabbily and refused to wash. Wooden fixtures in Georgian style impart a welcoming feel to all areas of the pub. The basement bar is branded WM Barker & Co. and concentrates on cocktails and craft beers.

Nice venue next to Liverpool Street station. Well worth visiting. Usally pop in here before a train, nice and friendly service and it’s always very quick. About £7:50 for an estrella, isn’t the worst I have seen in London. Very nice and relaxed and cozy atmosphere. I will be back

We made reservations on the Saturday as we've missed out on Sunday lunches in London in the past and we were very happy with our choice this time. We've past the pub several times over the years but it looks so dark ans it is downstairs in the bar, which adds to the atmosphere but upstairs in the dining area it was much brighter. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and the meat plentiful. Definitely worth the money for a Sunday Lunch in London. Would recommend 👌 👍

An old student haunt, 30 years ago, we opted for a meal in here after stumbling across it again instead of a chain restaurant. It was lovely, clean, quiet eating area upstairs which really appealed to us. Gorgeous hot food, sausage and mash, extra gravy and massive onion rings. Definitely recommend.

This was the mushroom and celeriac Wellington roast dinner. It was not a Wellington. It was a microwaved top. 3 hard black spotted unroasted potatoes, one carrot. A flat pie with no mushrooms, a flat Yorkshire and light brown water as gravy. Sent back 3 meals. Lovely waiter who was very embarrassed.

Right opposite Liverpool street station is the famous DD … I remembered seeing really old photos of the pub on a historic feed on Facebook. The pub builds on this expectation. It was a really great spot, we arrived just as it opened for lunch on a Sunday. Dining was on the 1st floor. The place was a lot busier when we left about 90 mins later. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff and I will say the food was excellent! The pub is part of the Young’s brewery and I would recommend the standard bitter, it was really good and accompanied the Sunday roast very well. Would certainly…
