About Kings Stores

Traditional-styled pub with wooden floors, live sport screenings and upstairs dining rooms.

Ex-Whitbread, Laurel pub. Now Greene King and recently converted to Metropolitan Pub Co format with beers now drawn nationally. Named because it was the site of a huge munitions store under Henry VIII. The décor is minimal with bare floorboards and brick walls. The front of the pub is the main drinking area while the rear is more for eating. There is also a restaurant upstairs. The five real ales always include at least one London brew.

I've celebrated a birthday at the Kings Store with family and friends and couldn't have wished for a nicer experience! The food was amazing and received praise from everyone. The function room upstairs is comfortable, looks nice and adapts well to different sizes of parties and has its own bar so we didn't need to go downstairs. Massive thanks to our great host who was with us the entire evening to help with everything as well as thanks to the rest of the team who were all super friendly and helpful at all times. I had pre-ordered vegetarian boards and mixed boards as well as portions of…

Food was good pub food and came relatively quickly. Quite busy as there was football on, so there was a nice atmosphere to it. Half pub and half restaurant. Staff were friendly and really nice. Good beers on tap, a lot of options. Reasonably priced. Definitely go back again.

The venue is somewhat split into two parts - a busy pub area (mainly standing) and a seated restaurant area. They often show sport on multiple screens and serve a decent pub meal - have been a couple of times and would return.

Nice pub to watch football ⚽ it's also very big and lots of different beers.

A surprisingly roomy pub, for such a tight and narrow part of town. Have never eaten there, but a lot do. Good Service even at peak times. 👌
